Southern Region Team win ETTA Regional Team Event

The Southern Region Team beat last year's winners East Midlands in a tight finish in the final of this event. With the team losing 4-5 with the last three girls matches to play the hopes of Southern Region lay with the girls and they did us proud. One after the other they notched up victories until with Megan Knowles winning the final match the win was secured 7-5.

This was an outstanding performance by all the players and it would be unfair to single individuals out as it truly was a team performance. Special mention must be made of the U11 teams though as they performed strongly throughout the event and were a major part of the success.
