ETTA membership
As from September of 2010, all regular table tennis players, whether they come to coaching, to practice or play in leagues must be members of the ETTA (English Table Tennis Association).
The easiest and quickest way to get or renew your licence is doing it online. Players can also complete an ETTA membership form and hand it in with the correct payment to the person on duty at Testwood. There are several levels of membership which are on the form – here is a brief explanation:
ADULTS:
Associate Member – if you just come along to practice, and don’t play in the STTA league. £ 3.00
Player Member – if you play in the STTA League or County Competitions £ 6.00
Player Member plus Player Licence – if you play in National competitions such as British League and Grand Prix. £ 26.00
CADETS (born in ‘97 or later)/JUNIOR(born between ‘94 & ‘96)
Player Member – if you just come along to coaching and practice, and don’t play in the STTA league or National Cadet League. £ 3.00
Player Licence (including Player Member) – if you play in the STTA League, County Competitions, ETTA star competitions and/or National Cadet League £ 13.00
